02 / Your purchase
Terms & digital delivery.
What you receive
A Save the Date purchase provides access to one selected digital invitation design for one celebration, its online editor and a hosted guest invitation. You can personalise the supported text, photographs, date and location, publish your invitation, and share its guest link and QR code.
The layout, colours and fonts are part of the selected design. Editable fields and technical requirements must be shown on the product page before payment. No printed stationery, physical shipment, custom design work, full Wedding Website or RSVP tracking is included in a Save the Date purchase.
Price and payment
The total price, purchase currency and any applicable tax must be shown before you pay. The Save the Date is a one-time purchase, with no automatic renewal. Any future extension or additional product requires its own clearly stated price and terms.
The planned payment method is Stripe's hosted checkout. No live purchase can currently be made in this draft. You can review the design and correct your selection before submitting payment.
How access is delivered
Delivery is digital. For the planned sales flow, paid access will be made available in your verified customer account after payment is confirmed. Your receipt and order confirmation will identify the product purchased and the applicable terms. If you cannot access a confirmed order, contact support rather than paying again.
Your customer account and private editor are separate from the guest invitation. Publish your invitation to create its public guest link. Share the guest link with guests; keep editing links and sign-in codes private.
Access period
The existing Save the Date product includes 18 months of access from activation. The expiry date is shown in your studio. Editing, republishing or changing your event date does not restart that period. The guest invitation and editing access close when the period ends.
Photographs and invitation content are scheduled for removal after a further 30-day grace period. Keep your own copies of photographs and any information you need. An extension is not automatic or guaranteed.
Your content and use of the design
You retain your rights in photographs and text you upload. You give us permission to store, process and display that content as needed to provide your invitation. Upload only content you have the right to use and share, and respect the privacy of people shown or named.
The invitation design is licensed for your celebration. You may share the published invitation and its QR code with guests. You may not resell the template, distribute its source files, impersonate others, upload unlawful content, or attempt to access another customer's account.
Changes and problems
Check names, dates, location and photographs before publishing. Updates can be published during your access period. Tell support if the service does not work as described. We will address problems under the refund and cancellation policy and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Policy changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
03 / If plans change
Refunds & cancellations.
This is a digital product, so there is no physical item to return. Contact the support address above with your order reference or purchase email and explain whether you want to cancel, have been charged twice, or are reporting a problem.
Your statutory rights
We honour cancellation and refund rights that apply to your purchase. UK consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period for a distance contract. An exception for immediately supplied digital content requires valid prior express consent and acknowledgement, as well as the required confirmation. Activating an account or publishing an invitation does not, by itself, remove all cancellation or refund rights.
This draft does not rely on an automatic waiver of cancellation rights. Our product combines digital content with ongoing editing and hosting; any early-supply consent and the treatment of the service element must be confirmed before checkout is enabled.
If a product is faulty, inaccessible or materially different from its description, contact us. We will assess the issue and provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include fixing the problem, a price reduction or a refund. These rights are separate from a change-of-mind policy.
Additional voluntary refunds
Commercial decision pending: any additional, voluntary refund period will be confirmed here before purchases are enabled. No blanket “no refunds” rule is adopted in this draft.
Processing an agreed refund
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method, unless another lawful method is agreed. Bank processing time can vary. We will explain how a cancellation or refund affects your paid access before closing the invitation. We will not charge an additional administration fee for a statutory refund.
04 / Your information
Privacy & cookies.
MONVIX LTD is the data controller for this service. Its registration details are listed in the seller section. For privacy requests, email hello@namesandmoments.com.
Information used to provide the service
- Account information: your email address, account identifiers, sign-in challenges, session records and access permissions.
- Invitation information: names, photographs, event date and timezone, location, optional contact email, draft content and published invitation content.
- Support information: messages and order or invitation references you provide when asking for help.
- Technical information: information needed to deliver the website and protect accounts, including request and security records. Exact production logging and retention settings are still to be confirmed.
- Payment information, when payments are enabled: order references, payment status, amount and currency. Card information will be entered with Stripe rather than into our invitation editor.
We use information to provide your account and invitation, deliver essential messages, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Proposed lawful bases are performance of the customer contract for providing the product, legitimate interests for proportionate security and support activities, and legal obligations for required records. Any optional marketing requires its own appropriate basis and choice.
What guests and other people can see
Publishing makes your invitation content available through the guest link, including names, photographs, event details and any contact email you choose to display. The guest link is not password protected. Anyone who receives it may open it, forward it or save a copy. Link previews may also display an invitation image in messaging or social services.
Your private account and editing credentials are not intended for guests. Unpublished content is kept behind editing or account authorisation. Do not put sensitive information in a guest invitation. Removing content from our service cannot remove copies already saved by other people.
Service providers
The application uses Cloudflare for hosting, database and photograph storage. Stripe is the proposed payment provider; its payment, fraud-prevention and legal processing is described in Stripe's privacy policy. The email delivery service and any additional production providers must be confirmed before launch.
Service providers may process information in countries outside the UK. Applicable transfer safeguards and the final provider list must be documented before the live service starts. Information is shared only as needed to operate the service, respond to lawful requests or protect legitimate rights.
Retention
Invitation access normally lasts 18 months from activation. After expiry, the guest link closes; the application is designed to remove invitation content and photographs through scheduled maintenance after a further 30 days. Images uploaded more than seven days ago that are no longer referenced by a draft or published invitation are eligible for removal during maintenance. The maintenance schedule must be enabled and verified before launch.
Before launch, confirm the retention periods for customer accounts, support messages, payment/accounting records, operational logs and backup copies. Expiry of an invitation does not automatically delete all account or accounting records. Information required by law may need to be retained after an erasure request.
Your choices and rights
You can update invitation information in your studio during the access period. Contact the privacy address above to request access, correction, erasure or restriction, or to exercise any other rights applicable to your information. Some rights depend on the processing and applicable law. We may verify your identity proportionately before acting on a request.
If UK data protection law applies, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant authority in your country.
Cookies and browser storage
The customer account uses the essential __Host-nm-session cookie to keep you signed in. It is configured as Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, with a maximum lifetime of 30 days; signing out clears it. The account page also uses session storage to remember the selected design during sign-in, valid for up to one hour.
This application does not contain optional advertising pixels or analytics scripts. If these are added, this notice and the applicable consent controls must be updated before they run. Cloudflare, payment and email services may introduce further technologies depending on their final configuration. Blocking essential browser storage may stop sign-in or design selection from working.
Wedding Websites and RSVP
RSVP and guest tracking are not active in this draft. A separate assessment and notice covering guest responses, access controls, retention and the roles of the customer and service provider must be completed before those features collect information.
05 / Safe use
Security & payments.
Private editing and account actions require authorisation. The application uses random access tokens, stores token hashes on the server and limits repeated sign-in attempts. Sensitive account responses are not intended to be stored in shared browser caches.
The website uses HTTPS. Payments, once enabled and verified, will use Stripe's hosted checkout so full card details are entered with Stripe. Stripe's certification does not make our whole website automatically PCI certified; the live payment integration and our remaining responsibilities must be checked before launch.
A public guest invitation is deliberately shareable. Its random link is not a password or a promise of confidentiality. Keep your editing link, email sign-in codes and account session private. Sign out on a shared device.
No online service can promise absolute security. Report a suspected account or data-security problem to the confirmed support contact above. Do not include passwords, card details, sign-in codes or a private editing token in your message.
